The 2012 National Cup finals will be held at the Toyota Park complex July 20-22, 2012.

The National Cup Committee met in Chicago with representatives of Toyota Park, Chicago Fire staff, Illinois State Soccer Association and USASA staff, to view the Toyota Park facility.

The Illinois State Soccer Association will be the host State association and will lead in the planning and support of any National Cup needs or requirements.

The current plan is that there will be a minimum of 2 turf and 2 natural grass fields that will be used for the National Cup event.  For all Semi-final round games, turf fields are planned to be used.  All final games are schedule to play on natural grass.  For the first time ever 3 final games are scheduled to be played in the main Toyota Park Stadium home of the Chicago Fire Soccer Club.  Games in the stadium are planned for taping for future telecast.

The 2012 National Cup Championship rounds are planned to be run at the highest professional level that all teams entering the National Cups aspire to play at.

Yours in Soccer
