The South Carolina Amateur Soccer Association is proud to announce its annual USASA sanctioned event "Lowcountry Soccer Festival" to be held in Charleston, South Carolina on May 24-26, 2008.
Location:
Lowcountry Soccer Festival will take place at West Ashley Park, Bayview Soccer Complex and Ackerman Park, all high quality, Bermuda grass fields with restroom and concession amenities.
Eligibility & Divisions:
The tournament welcomes all USASA teams in the following divisions:
Men’s: Open, Men’s II, Men’s III, Masters I (over 30), Masters II (over 35), Silver Masters (over 40), Golden Masters (over 50), & new for 2008, Premier Masters (over 55).
Women’s: Open, Women’s II, Women’s III, Masters (over 30), Silver Masters (over 40) & Golden Masters (over 50).
Co-ed: Open, Recreation, Co-Ed 30 (over 30), & Co-Ed 40 (over 40).
Deadline/Entry Fees:
The official entry deadline is Friday, May 2, 2008. However, teams can save $25 if the entry fee is received by April 4. Fees for all divisions will be $550. A fifty-dollar ($50) late fee will apply for applications received after May 2, if openings are available.
Playing Format:
Games will be played in World Cup format with three (3) matches guaranteed.
Awards:
Awards will be given to Championship and Finalist teams. Each division will also have an MVP award for the Championship match.
Registration:
All teams must have a current USASA validated player pass for each player. Teams must have persmission to travel form (for out-of-state teams), one copy of state certified roster, and each player’s signature on the team roster/medical release form.
Roster:
Rosters are limited to 18 players. Each team will be permitted to have six (6) guest players on their roster. All players must be currently USASA registered, including guest players. Player passes will be checked prior to each game.
